I'm so happy that I get the 3rd birthday surprise from Lik few days ago.
The surprises that he gave are really touching.
As I mentioned before, I'm a super lover of outer space.
For last year birthday, he gave me a surprise by sticking stars on the ceiling of my bedroom.
Well, for this year... again, he gave me the same surprise
but this time, he stick the stars all around my room!!

I used to look at the stars thru windows when I am lying on bed (before I fall asleep).
I feel so relief to see the stars shining even though I've turned off the lights."
This is what I've told him when we just met 2+years ago.
and this become his motive to gave me this surprise.
Really thanks for his caring.


Actually I shouldn't sitting here and spending time on blogging.
Final exam is coming!! *shame on me*
But I am really in low motivation...
Well, in order to motivate myself, for every semester, I did the same thing.

Undeniable, I am a super lover of outer space!!

 
Maybe some of you cant understand why i am so happy for this
as decoration on laptop is so common nowadays.
but, it is really so special for me!!
I planned to decorate my laptop cover from long time ago,
but Lik always rejected my ideas.. hehe.. (now i know why he rejected me).
I am so touch that he stick it all by himself.. (got  hor) *muaks~*


2nd surprise~~~
After the 1st surprise, I thought I will only get my birthday present on my bday.
"manatau" last night before i sleep, he told me a very long story.
I feel that the story is very WEIRD! but i keep listening to him.
I have no idea that he is going to give me the 2nd surprise.

His weird story: One day, a very "sok" lady was walking in the garden.
One guy looking at her and said :"Wow, lady, your skin is so silky oh~"
but that sexy lady just ignored him.
Then, the second guy looking at her and shout that :
"Liang moi, you are so sexy like a wild beast oh!!"
That sexy lady ignored him as well and keep walking.
Now, the third guy looking at her and said :"Woa, your daughter look alike with you o!"
That lady quickly look at him.

-the end of the story- (weird and sucks rite?! haha)

but he wanted me to find out the clue again. haha.

He then pointed to my PUMA bag which he bought for me for the 2nd anniversary in May '08.
i quickly opened my bag and "waaaaaaaaaaaaa...."

My PUMA bag born a child!!!! So cute!!!
I really really like it so much. They are exactly in the same design.
I never expected that he will present this for me.
Of course, at this moment, I gave him a very big kiss . hehe.. *shy*

And after that, he blamed me for my stupidity as I cant find out the clues.
He started to link the story with his present..haha..

1st: silky skin - the bag is in silky skin!
2nd: wild beast - the bag is from PUMA!
3rd: daughter with similar look - both the bag and wallet is in same design!



haha.. i really feel so touched for what he'd done for me.
Not only spending time and money for planning what to buy for me,
but also spent time on creating such "creative" story!





What I can say right now is "I him so much!" haha..
and I'm so excited to receive the coming birthday surprises!!! haha

During this tuition free week,
I was so lucky that I am able to attend my cousin wedding in KK,
which was held in Sutera Harbour 5 Hotel.
That was really awesome .
This was the 1st time I have ever attended a "Garden Wedding".
This garden wedding let all of us feel the romanticness of the wedding.

For this post, I am just going to post up the FOOD served in the wedding.
I will only post up the whole wedding process when I am free.
That's for sure! I don wanna let this sweet memory to be erased from my mind.

    For this dinner, actually I din really enjoy the food as I was too busy taking photos the all night. hehe.. I m too excited to be there!!
For what I have tested, I like the following food the most! ~

Last Tuesday, after my class, I went to Annie's Little Kitchen with Fishy, Amanda and Wilson. This is the 1st time I visit there even Fishy has introduced me this restaurant long time ago.

-Maradon Beefstew-

I like the way they stew the beef with some potatoes and carrots.
All the taste of the sauce and beef are well absorbed inside the potatoes and carrots.
It is really delicious, but the price for it is a bit high.
RM 15 per plate. (Do you think that it is expensive too?)


Fishy ordered Crispy Fish with Sambal Sauce,
which she found that it is very delicious too.

This item is not so cheap too, it costs about RM15-16 per plate.


If you wanna try something cheaper but still delicious,
you can try their Blue Rice Nasi Lemak,
which is ordered by Amanda & Wilson that day.

Don't you think it is so special?? The rice are really in blue!!
I have tried the rice too. It has very nice fragrant and quite tasty,
it taste more like "nasi pulut".
This item is only cost for RM6.80 per plate. - I think it is the cheapest item in Annie



Though this lunch is quite costly, we still enjoy it so much.
I have "boundless" topics to talk with Fishy again!



"For my own opinion, if Annie want to target the students as their main customers,
they should readjust their food prices.
Students will love their food, but will not always "buy" their food."



/ **Please leave me a comment about your feeling if any of you are going to try the new Annie in this coming tuition free week.
I can only try it after tuition free week  - back to hometown for one week~ yeah~~



Ohya, before I ended this entry, I would like to tell you about the operating hour for Annie's Little Kitchen as it is quite "special" and  "unique" compare to the other restaurants.
Business hour start from 11am to 2pm. then 5.30pm to 9pm.

Lik and I went to Secret Recipe in Miri again.
Well, maybe it is new operated, so everything is still not on the right track!

I went there with full of hopes, imaginations and expectations.
Though it did not really give me a very good impression for the 1st time,
I still wanna give it a new chance.

However... it lets me down again !!
I am not the only one who think so, but most of my friends do have the same feeling too.
The following photos maybe will make you doubt about my words,
but the deliciousness of the foods are just illusions!!
"Do not judge a book by its cover!" - I think it is quite suitable to be described here .

-Ro water-

I suggested you all to order RO water rather than plain water,
not only in Secret Recipe, but also some other restaurants.
If you do not mind to drink the water with a layer of oil (on the top of water),
then I have no comment for that. ^x^

- Cheese Macaroni with Prawns & Mushrooms-

Can you feel the deliciousness of this macaroni??
Can you feel the freshness of the prawns and mushrooms??
And, can you feel the cheesy cheese on the top of the macaroni??
Wow.. it looks so delicious ~~~
Wait a minute!!
Sorry that I am going to destroy your imagination.
In actual fact, this cheese macaroni is NOT tasty at all!!
Cheese macaroni huh?!
I cant taste any cheese!!
I cant taste any prawns or mushrooms as well!!
I can only taste them when i eat them separately.
When I m eating the macaroni alone, I feel like I m eating FLOUR !! -so geli!!
Well, it's hard for me to express my dissatisfaction here,
you may try it and feel it yourself.
But my advice :"It's not worth to spend on it!"
This is what i called "illusions" ~

-Beef Lasagna-

Sorry that I am going to tell you, this is NOT so tasty too.
Do you have the same feeling as me? (below)
 They don't look like lasagna, or don taste like lasagna.
It's more like "minced beef with SOME cheese".
But still, you can feel the taste of beef (not as worse as the macaroni).
The main problem for this item is, the bread is over baked!
We cant even chew it!
Over baked = Too Dry = Too Firm (as it loses its "water content")

Well, of course, not all of the meals are that un-delicious.
Still, there are some items that can make us smile :

Remember that I have mentioned about the black pepper lamb pie in my previous blog?
I tried it again, it is still so yummy~~

Hehe.. please allow me to change my words here, this is not an illusion~
It's so tasty..
Not stingy in filling the pie with potatoes, lamb and onions. -this is what I like


Besides, we order a new pie this time (new for me) --> Chicken Cornish ~

-Chicken Cornish-

The taste of their Chicken Cornish is not bad too. You can ask for original or spicy.
Yea, the portion of this cornish is quite big. You will feel full for sure.


Actually I am still waiting for my love! as they are still not available in Miri yet
- Gourmet Pie & Chicken Cordon Bleu-

I must always remind myself :"Cannot cannot cannot visit Secret Recipe again within this month!!" I am not going to waste my money on it anymore!!
But, when gourmet pie and chicken cordon bleu are available....
hehe.... I cant promise anything :P ~

yea!!! finally i'm back from my testssss and assignments~~
Let's continue to my second part of Mid Autumn Celebration 2008.
After our delicious dinner as I mentioned in the previous blog (the 1st part of celebration), we went to Miri City Fan.

Of course we do not forget about the main theme of the night - "tanglung"!!


We bought some tanglungs, candles and handgrips from a toys shop, Siong Lee.
We had a lots of fun by playing the tanglungs.

They are trying to pose as cute as they can in order to win each other.
What do you think about them?? Which of them is cuter??
Well, our decision for that night was Lik since he exert his expert pose!!! (look down)

-Do you think he should be the winner?? ^^ i think so.-

Besides........................

3 of the guys was trying to hold the tanglungs in some other ways,
and finally they think of using "mouth" .
If you think that they are too free and "whats the problem??",
 then you should not concluded that so early.
You should see the most "special" guy of the night.(below)

It was too dark in the park and the photos taken were too blur. Actually other than playing tanglungs, the guys were playing our favorite game - Dare, again.
The "luckiest" star of the night was Wahdi. He has been punished for few times. The 1st punishment required him to greet a stranger in the park, by saying "中秋节快乐". Then, he was punished again to stand on the middle of the stage in the center of City Fan, and shout loudly on the stage, greeting everyone in the park "中秋节快乐"~~
hahhahha~~ Can you imagine how funny and how embarassed he was??
Other than Wahdi, Ah Ching and Gary was get punished too. Ah Ching was required to walk to a stranger who was talking phone at that moment, shake the stranger's hand and greet him.
I remember how the stranger reacted: "Huh?? Har?? Ohh,okok" It's so funny, man!
Then, Gary's turn. He was punished to sing "月亮圆" to a stranger with some actions. Know what, this idea was actually suggested by him by the time when no victim have been chosen!! "自作自受"




I don't know whether this is a traditional habit that we normally will burn our tanglungs after the celebration. Is it as a symbol of "end of celebration"?? hehe..

Actually I was struggling for long time, to decide whether should i post up this photos.
I feel that my arm is too "thick" here.
But no choice, this is the only picture i have taken in City Fan.
I feel quite regret as we did not take much photos in City Fan.
 I didn't take photos with Amanda, Anne, Andrew, Gerald, Gary, KingMing, Wahdi...
and actually everyone . I should take more!! argh!!


Anyway, it was so fun that night. Since all of us are now far away from our homes, celebrating this traditional festival together with friends make us feel so warm, not feeling lonely or sad at all.

Can you differentiated which is my tanglung and which is my handbag?
Lol, I know I am too exaggerate by asking so,
but many of them said that the tanglung n my handbag look similar.
hehe.. mayb i should put a big torchligh inside my handbag n turn it on.
Don't you think my handbag will be the most special tanglung of the night??

As usual, our gang of friends was gathered together last night to celebrate the Mid Autumn Night which also known as Moon Cake Festival .





First, we have our dinner in 十哩香, a restaurant which is so famous with their "bak kut teh" in Miri.



Though the portion of the bak kut teh is not really big enough, our friends esp the guys, was keep refilling their rice!! You know how scary they was?

Let me list them down (ascendingly):

 *ops.. gerald just told me that he ate 3 bowls too!!! but i lazy to change my list.. haha.. so remember, Gerald was one of the Craxx guy too.. haha

Besides enjoying the delicious meals, the starring of the night, Ah Ching, keep attracting the other guys. You will understand why i said so :

       Lik and I went to Secret Recipe few days ago.                                                                                                       (it's finally opened in Miri last week !!!!)

I am so excited when Lik suggested to have dinner there . 
A lot of foods (gourmet pie, chicken cordon bleu, lamb shank...) emerge on my mind immediately.
After waiting for seats for around an hour, finally I can fulfill my food dreams~

We ordered:

~ Black Pepper Lamb Pie~ as our appetizer

- Chicken with Mushroom Sauce Rice- as Lik's main course

-Dory Fish with Lobster Sauce- as my main course

Well, what I can do for now is just "wait~~~~~"
Waiting for them to be available .

Friends around me understand that I am always crazy for food .
 Undeniable, its hardly to make me feel full, even if I've taken a heavy meal.
And this cause me to take supper for almost every single night.

Few nights ago, as usual, I was "starving" again, but it was heavy rain outside
and I can't go out to look for food.
I have no choice so I keep enduring my hungriness.
A very nice guy - Lik, pull me up and save me from the unbearable hungriness.

Look what he have done for me:

What I would like to say is : "I am so so touched ~"

I am so happy and feel so lucky to meet him.
He is always by my side whenever I need him.

I went to Brunei again during the tuition free week on August. Though this is the xx times I visited to Brunei, I still feel that it was so fun !! There are too much I wanna tell about this Brunei trip.

As usual we sure (won't miss) the chance for having lunch in Excapade!! I really love their food so much because they are cheap and in big portion ~ Lets have a look at our meals: *Warning!!!! Don't scroll down if you are hungry now.

Hehe.. I told you not to look at this. I bet you sure feel so wanna go to eat in Excapade now!

Other than having fun through games, I also contented myself by buying "some" snacks.

            Of course, i enjoy the night with my , Lik too. I'm so happy that he is willing to spend the night with us. I think he enjoy the food more than me, even he always say he want to "keep fit" .
